 There are so many ways new media can be used to improve Baruch college. I think that the first thing I would suggest would be a social media platform for Baruch students in the presence and in the past. People could make social connections even before they start going to school. Maybe also create pages for each class (like specific facebook pages) so people could communicate there with people from their classes, share content and discuss with people outside of the classroom. I would also create a better Instagram account for Baruch college and share photos from school activities and sports games, and also share instant content on Instagram stories like announcements, videos and more. I think that Baruch is not known enough and doesn't do enough advertising to this amazing school. I would post more information on the school , the great return student gets for their money, and the simple registration process all over social media- on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Blog v Wiki

Blogs are generally more subjective and are written from the authors perspective. The content that is usually shared on it is personal, verses Wikis that are a more formal version of a blog where everyone can edit it and add content to it. Therefore, both the information we get from Blogs and from Wikis is subjective and we don't know how reliable it is. These days Wikis can be more relevant because the information we have on almost any subject in the world is constantly changing and being able to edit that information helps keep it updated and relevant, for example- Wikipedia.  It is easy to collaborate with other people both using blogs and wikis because people can get involved, comment on posts, and contribute to the content.
